This Privacy Policy explains how Ýükçi (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Ýükçi mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”). Ýükçi is a parcel-forwarding and cargo-consolidation service that helps customers in Turkmenistan receive goods purchased from Chinese marketplaces, and lets our staff receive, consolidate, ship, and hand over those parcels.

By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information needed to operate the Service:

• Account information: your phone number, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text), display name, preferred language, an assigned username, and, for customers, your region within Turkmenistan.
• Parcel and shipment information: parcel barcodes, marketplace order numbers you provide, weight and dimensions, photos of parcels taken by our warehouse operators, shipment status, checkpoints, and pricing.
• Photos and camera: for warehouse operators only, the app uses the camera to scan parcel barcodes and take parcel photos, and may access the photo library to attach parcel images. Customers are not asked for camera or photo access.
• Device and notification data: a push-notification token so we can send you parcel status updates, plus basic technical data such as app version and device type.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking, and the app does not track you across other apps or websites.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you (phone number + password).
• To receive, identify, consolidate, ship, and hand over your parcels.
• To calculate shipping prices and prepare invoices.
• To send you push notifications about the status of your parcels.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service and prevent abuse.

3. Payment

Payment for shipments is collected in cash, in person, at handover. The Service does not process online payments and does not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or other payment-card information.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run the Service, specifically Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which delivers push notifications to your device.
• Within our own operations — our warehouse and delivery staff access the parcel information needed to process and hand over your shipments.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Ýükçi, our customers, or others.

5. International data transfers

Our application data is stored on our own servers. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase, which may process the notification token on servers located outside Turkmenistan. We rely on these providers’ safeguards for such processing.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights and account deletion

You can, at any time:

• Delete your account directly in the app: open the Profile tab and tap Delete account, then confirm with your password. This permanently deletes your account; parcels are detached from your profile and related invoices are removed. Accounts that carry operational or audit history may be deactivated instead of erased, to preserve required business records.
• Access or correct your account information, or request deletion by contacting us using the details below.
• Withdraw notification consent by disabling notifications in your device settings.

8. Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-way password hashing, role-based access controls, and signed, time-limited links for parcel images. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information at all times.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
